What is a discourse?

šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ Discourse means ā€˜pieces of language longer than a sentenceā€˜. There are some words and expressions which show how discourse is constructed. They help organize, connect and express an attitude. Ā Some are used in informal speech or writing, other are more common in a formal style. Therefore, they are one great way how to upgrade your writing. A DM usually comes at the beginning of a clause.
